REACH and Raw Materials: Achieving Europe’s Green Deal goals together

The EU Green Deal requires new and urgent investment into strategic raw materials value chains. At the same time, chemicals policy action is needed to ensure high environmental and health protection across the lifecycle. Achieving both requires a joined-up approach, with strategic metals like lithium, cobalt, and silver all under review for new chemicals rules.
We will bring together industry, policymaker, and civil society experts to discuss how the upcoming REACH reform should be applied to Europe’s clean energy supply chains and 2030 raw materials production goals
