North East Futures Conference
October 5
The North East Future Resources Conference (NEFR) will highlight the opportunities in the North East to responsibly extract metals and minerals, its emergence as a hub for high-value mineral processing including Giga-factories for battery manufacturing and electric car development, as well as alternative and renewable energy sources.
Future resource supply, security and sustainably has never been more important.
Our society is faced with rising global energy demands, increasing need for critical metals with technological applications and more minerals to increase food production and infrastructure for an ever-growing population. The subject and the industry is ‘top of the agenda’.
We will showcase the companies and work undertaken so far and illustrate the potential investment opportunities that lie ahead. Presenters will also demonstrate the importance of the growth and role of the North East to the UK’s economy as a strategic portfolio of assets, ranging from mineral resources to giga factories, renewable projects, technological excellence and electric car manufacturers.
We are planning an excellent line-up of speakers, plus extra activities and networking drinks and dinner. Seeing is believing!
The high-profile delegates include local and national policy makers, investors, brokers, producers and operators, supply chain enablers and key stakeholders such as natural capital.
It will be an excellent opportunity to network and present to an influential audience.
